Day03 心得分享：10E
昨天我們從花蓮騎車到台東，這是環台旅程中的其中一站。老實說，這段路真的很長，而且超無聊。我們騎了好幾個小時，沿途的風景雖然美，但看久了也會麻木。天氣很悶熱，路也幾乎沒有變化，一開始真的會讓人想打退堂鼓。
但我和同行的夥伴想了很多辦法讓旅程變得比較有趣，比如說唱歌、玩文字接龍。有時候我們會突然開始唱老歌，然後一群人接著唱，還有人在隊伍中 beatbox！雖然我們的娛樂行為聽起來很幼稚，但在這種枯燥乏味的車程下，這些幼稚反而變成了我們解無聊的救命稻草。
雖然騎乘本身不特別精彩，但正因為這種平淡，我們才能靠自己的方式去填滿它。我開始發現，旅程有趣與否不一定取決於風景或路線，而是和誰一起騎，以及我們怎麼面對這種「空白」。
Yesterday, we biked from Hualien to Taitung, one of the stops on our cycling trip around Taiwan. To be honest, the ride was quite long and incredibly boring. We spent hours on the road. While the scenery was beautiful at first, it quickly became dull after a while. The weather was humid, and the road barely changed, which made it easy for us to feel like giving up early on.
But my teammates and I came up with all kinds of ways to make the ride more interesting and enjoyable, like singing songs and playing word chain games. Sometimes, we’d randomly start singing old songs, and everyone would join in—someone even started beatboxing in the middle of the group! It might sound childish, but in the middle of such a ride, that kind of silliness actually became our lifeline.
The ride itself wasn’t especially exciting, but it was exactly because of that plainness that we had the freedom to fill it with our own fun. I began to realize that what makes a journey enjoyable isn’t necessarily the scenery or the route, but who you’re riding with and how you choose to face those moments of emptiness.
