Our cycling trip around Taiwan was an unforgettable and transformative journey. The segment from Yunlin to Taichung was especially memorable — the scenery was stunning, with lush green rice fields, expansive coastlines, and distant mountains painting a vivid picture of Taiwan’s natural beauty. The changing skies added a special rhythm to our ride, making each moment feel fresh and alive.
Though the trip was physically demanding, it was also deeply introspective. While pedaling, I often found myself reflecting — why did I choose this? Can I really make it all the way? But every time I pushed through a challenge, I felt a strong sense of accomplishment that reminded me of my inner strength. The ride from Yunlin to Taichung wasn’t the hardest stretch, but it was a peaceful and grounding one, allowing me to slow down and truly connect with the meaning of the journey.

This round-island trip was more than just a test of endurance — it was a journey of the soul. I discovered a new sense of freedom and learned to see the world, and myself, in a broader light. The encouragement and support from my teammates were invaluable, making every kilometer feel lighter and more meaningful.
Although an accident happened today, isn’t this also a challenge to our inner selves? Not only did we learn the importance of safety, but also how we should stay positive and calm when facing the unexpected.
Looking back, this experience didn’t just show me the beauty of Taiwan — it helped me rediscover myself. Now I know: with determination, even circling an entire island is possible. Lastly, we wish for a safe journey back home.
